Template:Infobox video game series Andlosheim (Endlesshome) is a media franchise created by Shujo Powers and Nathan Elliot, through Oer-Vector Studios. Though originally the brainchild of Elliot, Powers developed much of the game mechanics that have been a staple of series in all mediums. Andlosheim is the fictional world in the games—and other Andlosheim media—is set. The games consist of hundreds of characters, which usually consists of different ones in each iteration, as each focuses on a different period of Andlosheim history.

It is one of the most popular franchises in the world, with over five titles and many more planned. Though the rights are ultimately owned by Oer-Vector Studios, they are loaned out fairly commonly when the company likes a particular proposal. The majority of games games are both critically acclaimed and commercial successes. It has recently expanded outside the video game medium with the release of figurines, novels, and manga series.

Despite its popularity, little concrete is known about the world of Andlosheim—though Elliot has stated that he has personally developed much of its lore and history and will only approve works that conform with it. In 1568, Oer-Vector Studios announced that it is planning both a game series and a literary series to reveal the world's history.

Upcoming titles[edit]

  • Andlosheim: The Sinne is a planned sequel to Andlosheim: The Confederacy, to be released Summer 1569. It is known to continue following Elke's adventures, as she travels through the Sinne realms under Siora's guidance.

Other media[edit]

Print adaptions[edit]

A manga based on Andlosheim: Infestation titled the Andlosheim: The Fourth Infestation began serialization in west Brigidna and Nyland in 1562. It follows Elke's from shortly before the events of Infestation to the end of the game. Andlosheim: A Reeling Confederacy is its sequel and began serialization in 1565, and is meant to cover the events of Andlosheim: The Confederacy. Two books, titled Andlosheim: Elke's Third and Andlosheim: Elke's Fourth cover the same games (Infestation and The Confederacy respectively) and are written as journals—as Elke Korraidhin is known to detail her travels and learning.

Andlosheim: The Book of Lore and Legend, is a short companion book released with Andlosheim: Fourth Infestation (though can be purchased separately) that sheds some light on the world of Andlosheim—more specifically, on its factions, gods, and legends.

Novels[edit]

Andlosheim Origins is the first book in a series by Elliot, released in 1568. It details the Great War of the Gods, an early event in Andlosheim history that leads to the Law of Conversation of Reality—a staple of the series that limits the capabilities of magic. It follows the primordial deity Lag from his birth at the whim of Ljost, the All-father, to his master's "perennial sleep" after a battle with Verd, the primordial deity of chaos and change.

Story[edit]

The Andlosheim series currently focuses on the adventures of Elke Korraidhin, as she sets out from the Pristine Fountain at Siora's direction to defeat the Fourth Blackspawn Infestation. However, it quickly becomes an journey for more than that—as Elke and her companions stumble across numerous incredible discoveries. This is the central story around current released and planned games, though Oer-Vector Studios has stated that it's possible late games could focus on different regions of Andlosheim.

Mechanics[edit]

Longing Heart

The Longing Heart is a pendant (in the shape of a protected heart) given to Elke Korraidhin by Siora early in Andlosheim: Infestation, during the tutorial. In initially enables the player to save and reload, though grows more functions—both game-mechanic wise and in-game—as the game progresses. It is implied it a special item personally bestowed by Siora onto persons of his choosing. It is also implied it is an incredibly rare and powerful item, that Elke only begins to scratch the surface of.

By the end of the first game, the Longing Heart serves as a guide to the next story objective, provides the wearer with protection against corruption, and increases their magical affinity—granting them access to more powerful spells and enabling quick-casting of lower-level ones.
