Italiano: Fanny Targióni Tozzétti (nata Ronchivecchi). Moglie (Firenze 1801 - ivi 1889) del naturalista Antonio T. T., fu donna assai ammirata, oggetto anche di pungenti pettegolezzi. G. Leopardi la conobbe a Firenze nel 1830 e finì con l'invaghirsene. Da questo amore di Leopardi e dal suo aspro dolore, quando si accorse che la corrispondenza spirituale da lui sperata esisteva solo nella sua immaginazione, nacque il ciclo di poesie detto "di Aspasia" (Treccani).
