The AIFV-42 or Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle, Type-42 is is an amphibious armored fighting vehicle, developed for the Drahen Marine Corps. The AIFV-442 is launched at sea from amphibious assault ships and swims at high speed over a long distance to shore. These IFVs are launched over 10 km from shore, thus reducing the threats faced by amphibious assault ships. Maximum speed on water is 25 km/h.

Variants[edit]
- AIFV-42T is a light tank mounted with a 105 mm rifled gun capable of firing armour piercing fin stabilised discarding sabot (APFSDS), high explosive (HE), and high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, and 105mm laser beam riding guidance anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). The light tank variant is operated by a crew of 4, with the driver positioned front-left of the turret, and loader, gunner, and commander occupying the turret.
- AIFV-42C is a command variant of the AIFV-42 with a raised rear roofline. The turret has been removed and the vehicle is armed with a remotely operated weapons station capable of mounting a 12.7 mm machine gun or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.
- AIFV-42E is a combat engineer variant of the AIFV-42. The turret has been removed and the vehicle is armed with a remotely operated weapons station capable of mounting a 12.7 mm machine gun or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.
