Template:Infobox military The Armed Forces of the Kubanizan Federation (Kuban: Збройні Сили Кубаньізської Федерації, tr. Zbroyni Syly Kubanizs'koyi Federatsiyi) is the military of Kubaniza, and consists of four branches: the Ground Forces, the Air Force, the National Guard, and the Coast Guard. Its Supreme Commander is the Hetman of the Kubanizan Federation.

History[edit]

The Armed Forces's predecessor was the United Khorobri Forces, a coalition of khorobri units founded by Vasily Bukanko with the purpose of fighting against the Union of Socialist Republics. The United Khorobri Forces fought against Union forces in the Winter War, which ended with the Bukanya Accords and Kubanizan independence. After independence, the United Khorobri Forces were responsible for the security of the new state. One of the first protocols of the Khapuz Convention gave the United Khorobri Forces peacekeeping and security authority.

In Dosa 1525, the Khapuz Convention established a federal system of government and Vasily Bukanko was elected to the office of Hetman. Under the Convention, the Hetman was also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Structure[edit]

The Ministry of Defense of the Kubanizan Federation is the civilian administrative body for the Armed Forces. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kubaniza is the primary commanding and supervising body for the Kubanizan Armed Forces. The Minister of Defense, the civilian commander of the armed forces, is nominated by the Hetman and confirmed by the Verkhovna Rada. The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kubaniza is appointed by the Hetman. The current Defense Minister is Petro Karaimovych and the current Chief of the General Staff is General of the Army of Kubaniza Maksym Dyachenko.

The Armed Forces contains four services: the Kubanizan Ground Forces, the Kubanizan Air Force, the National Guard of Kubaniza, and the Kubanizan Coast Guard. These services are divided into two military districts, the Eastern Military District and Western Military District.

Kubanizan security bodies not under the authority of the Ministry of Defense include the Federal Security Service and Border Patrol Service under the Ministry of the Interior and the independent Federal Protective Service.
