The Republican Guard (Ashked: Cumhuriyet Muhafızları) is a branch of the People's Army of Zargistan created shortly after Abjul Takmir seized power in the 1554 Marth Revolution. It was created for the purpose of preserving Takmir's regime and is totally loyal to him. It proved its effectiveness in putting down the Jawadi Rebellion and pro-royalist riots in Byzkhan shortly after its creation.
