Variants[edit]
- Type-55A is designed for general purpose utility vehicle for use by the armed forces of Tiejungo, with a four-person capacity and a payload capacity of 1,600 kg).
- Type-55B is a multipurpose chassis that has a payload capacity of 1,800–2,000 kg. It's payload depends on the mission module that use mounted behind the cab and can be used for various roles as an infantry carrier, reconnaissance car, Command and Control vehicle, heavy guns carrier, and ambulance.
- Type-55Cis designed as a transport vehicle for use by the armed forces of Tiejungo, with a two-person capacity and a payload capacity of 2,500 kg.
- Type-55M is based on the Type-22C and is designed as an MRAP. The modficiations to the vehicle increase the curb weight to 6,400 kg and it carries up to 4 passengers with two crew (driver and gunner).
- Type-55U is an unmanned ground vehicle that can be mounted with various weapon load-outs and various payloads.
